This Skelligs necklace is a new addition to my regular jewellery collection…! I painted “Moonlight over the Skelligs” many years ago… The Skelligs are two rocky islands off the coast of County Kerry (where I am lucky to live). I’ve had the pleasure to climb up Skellig Michael 3 times so far, and the UNESCO protected monastery on the very top is as breathtaking as the view. It has of course become more popular in recent years by being used as a movie location for some of the Star Wars movies… This necklace could become a piece of Star Wars jewelry to a hard core fan…! The glass cabochon on this little treasure measures 1″ and the bright silver tone metal is nickel and lead free.
The pendant can be mounted on a chunky rolo style 24″ chain or on a smooth 18″ snake chain. All jewellery pieces come in a pretty gift box, perfect for gift giving or to keep for yourself! All items are shipped with regular Irish post, (An Post).
