This Skelligs earrings are a new addition to my regular jewellery collection…! I painted “Moonlight over the Skelligs” many years ago… The Skelligs are two rocky islands off the coast of County Kerry (where I am lucky to live). I’ve had the pleasure to climb up Skellig Michael 3 times so far, and the UNESCO protected monastery on the very top is as breathtaking as the view. It has of course become more popular in recent years by being used as a movie location for some of the Star Wars movies… This necklace could become a piece of Star Wars jewelry to a hard core fan…! Every piece is handcrafted and would add a nice little splash of colour for your outfit! The glass cabochon measures 12mm, and the bright silver tone metal is nickel and lead free. All jewellery pieces come in a pretty gift box, perfect for gift giving or just to keep for yourself!
